The California-based electric vehicle manufacturer and world second most valuable car manufacturer, is now America’s most valuable industrial company after beating the aerospace giant Boeing.

Tesla market capitalization now sits comfortably above $1 billion, while Boeing market capitalization is presently worth about $93 billion, after U.S. President Donald Trump made an historical speech that tanked the stock market overnight.

This week, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially designated the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, as the virus spread across more than 100 countries and infected well over 100,000 individuals. The Dow sank more than 1,200 points following the announcement.
